Father Kills Son In Druken Brawl
A Man Shot his son in drunken fight in Ran Village of Kalyanpur Taluka Of Jamnagar District On Monday Evening. The Injured Man was taken to Khambhalia where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning.
Victim Vejanand Gadhavi(35) and his father Manasur Dosabhai Gadhavi(57) were drinking together at there home. According to the sources, the two men drunk together frequently.
On Monday,however, they were embroiled in a heated argument which escalated to the point when the father took his revolver and shot Vejanand. Initially while the seriously injured Vejanad was hospitalized, Mansur tried to convince hospital staff that the victim had attempted suicide.But later on during police inquiry, he confessed the truth.Wife of the accused and the victim's mother Jevaben Gadhavi, lodged the complaint against the accused. The Police registered the case under section 702 of IPC and Arms Act 25(1)
